Hi,

My name is Wayne Smith and I live in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland.

I thought I'd share my family tree with the Clan Smith Society as it may be of benefit to some of your members if they can find a link.

I don't have all the information that I would like and some of it is missing, for example I don't have exact dates of births, deaths and marriages of some of my ancestors.

Robert Smith married Christian Mcintosh in Inverness, Scotland on the 6th November 1785.

They had 2 sons (maybe more children)

John Smith baptised in Forres, Moray, Scotland on the 9th of December 1788.

Robert Smith baptised in Forres, Moray, Scotland on the 22nd of May 1791.

Robert married Mary Kelly (maybe spelled Kellie) in Forres on the 28th of July 1822, Mary was baptised in Kinloss on the 16th of May 1790.

They had 1 son (maybe more children)

John Smith born in Edinburgh on the 14th of March 1830 his wife Jessie Watson was born in North Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland  1829.

They married on the 14th of March 1853

They had 7 Children (maybe more)

One of the 7 children was Robert Smith born in Edinburgh on the 14th of April 1863, He married Marion Christie who was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on the 26th of January 1865.

They married in 1884 and had 7 children (maybe more).

One of the 7 children was Robert Smith born in Edinburgh on the 29th of January 1890, He married Janet Sargent who was born in Leith, Edinburgh on the 6th of August 1892.

They had 4 children 1 of which was my father Thomas Smith who was born in Edinburgh on the 14th of August 1923 died in Livingston, Scotland in 2007.

So if any of the above information means anything to any of the Societies members please let me know.
